This course will emphasize the crucial components of administering a high-quality early care and education program. The purpose of this is to provide current child care administrators an opportunity to acquire and/or enhance information and skills they need to effectively operate a facility in the areas of organizational leadership, and management associated with managing a quality child care program.

The Child Care Administration is a comprehensive training program for Administrators of early childhood education programs. Thoughtful planning is essential to the development and success of early childhood programs. Children are our world’s most valuable asset. and research has shown that their earliest years of experience has a profound impact on their lives. Therefore, it is imperative that parents and early childhood professionals strive to ensure those experiences are beneficial
MEASURABLE LEARNING OUTCOMES
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to A. Analyze the administrative tasks involved in starting and maintaining an early childhood program by creating goals, communicating with families, understanding curriculum and assessments for young children. B. Design an activity to meet the needs of families in your facility or classroom that is helpful in partnering with families served by your program. C. Describe the skills and personal qualities needed by the director of an early childhood program. D. Analyze the various legal responsibilities of an early childhood program.
