This program is specifically designed for individuals that work with school age students and provide the knowledge and skills necessary for employment for working with children between the ages of 5-12 years of age. Our program is instructor-Led Online Not approved for online instruction

    PREREQUISITES

  • Students must provide the completed Child Care Training Transcript showing completion of Part I and Part II Child Care Facility OR Family Child Care Home training of the State of Florida Mandatory training requirements.

  • Students must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Students must provide an original High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Non-US, non-English diplomas must be accompanied by a translation from an accredited agency.

  • Students must currently be working or volunteering in a licensed child care facility/family child care home.

  • Students must have worked/volunteered a minimum of 400 hours [of the mandatory 480 hours needed] within the last 3 years.

  • Be able to operate Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) attach files to requested assignments.
