5 Hour Early Language and Literacy Development Training

About this course: 
 

This 5-hour in-service training is approved to fulfill the Florida's Early Literacy and Language Development Course required as a child care personnel in section 402.305(2) (d)5., F.S., (See Approved Listing) All child care personnel must complete a single course of training in early literacy and language development of children ages birth through give years.

 

This training focuses on the critical importance of early literacy in young children's development. You will learn about the impact of early literacy on brain development and how to effectively support children in developing communication and literacy skills. The course will emphasize the vital role of parents and early childhood professionals in nurturing these skills from an early age to ensure children are set up for success in both their early years and beyond.

Begin by completing each Training Module: Upon completion of all 5 modules, you will receive a training certificate that is accepted and approved with DCF to fulfill your early literacy training.
