These 6 trainings can be used to renew your FCCPC Credential. 

 

The purpose of these trainings are to provide current preschool teachers with the opportunity to acquire and/or enhance information and skills needed to effectively implement new practices into their classrooms.
 

• Demonstrate ways to employ the NAEYC Code of Ethical Code Conduct to validate professional standards for children, families, staff, and community 

• Identify strategies to promote healthy brain development 

• Identify major developmental milestones related to movement and fine motor skills from birth through age 5  Identify ways in which infectious diseases are spread 

• Identify safe practices for preventing the spread of bloodborne pathogens in the child care setting  Define goals and setting them for success 

• Identify the purpose of early childhood assessment tools 

• Define social development, emotional development, and temperament 

• Identify the roles of parents and child care providers in providing positive guidance to children.
